MARQUETTE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Starting with the week of October 4, 2013, we began a new program honoring Mrs. Ohlman, who was the principal of Marquette Elementary School during 1966-1985. One student in our school is chosen to be “Student of the Week”. The student is chosen by their teacher. Each week, a different class and grade has the honor of selecting one student. The student will have their picture taken and placed in the plaque in the front foyer.

	We are so excited that Kleio was chosen as our next "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Mrs. Jones had to say about her... The student of the week is one spectacular girl and comes from Mrs. Jones’ classroom. This girl has been at the center of my eye for the entire nine weeks as she is always a leader in my classroom and shows respect everywhere in our school. She is a kind, caring, sweet, compassionate, hard working girl who always tries her best and loves to help her friends in the classroom. She is also thoughtful and always demonstrates the 3R’s and could earn one of our WOW tickets daily! Congratulations Kleio as you are the student of the week and one amazing student!
	We are so excited that Raegan was chosen as our next "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Mrs.Schlottman had to say about her... I am so thrilled to be able to choose my first student of the week. This student shows up to school every day being respectful, responsible, and is ALWAYS ready to learn. This student is kind to all of her friends, and is always willing to help when needed. When our classroom is given a task or instructions, this student is always a first time listener and makes sure she is doing her best. This friend tries hard every day and is a great role model to the other students. Please congratulate our classroom’s student of the week : Raegan!
	We are so excited that Connor was chosen as our next "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Mrs. Clark had to say about him... We are so excited be able to choose the student of the week! We are going to tell you some special things about this boy. C: He CARES about everyone O: He is an OUTSTANDING leader. N: His handwriting is always NEAT. N: He is always NICE to his friends and teachers. O: OUT of this world! R: He shows the 3 R's; RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN We are proud to say that Connor is our student of the week!
	We are so excited that Jaxton was chosen as our "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Miss Look had to say about him... We are so very excited to be able to celebrate a member of our class family! This boy always comes to school with a positive attitude and a big smile. He has such a big heart and shows everyone that he cares through his words and actions. He loves helping everyone! He tries his very best at everything he does throughout the day even if it is hard. He shows respect to everyone by listening when others are sharing or when I am teaching. He is always using his manners and is one of the first ready for an activity. I am so very thankful to be his 2nd Grade teacher. Congratulations Jaxton!
