MARQUETTE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Starting with the week of October 4, 2013, we began a new program honoring Mrs. Ohlman, who was the principal of Marquette Elementary School during 1966-1985.  One student in our school is chosen to be “Student of the Week”.  The student is chosen by their teacher. Each week, a different class and grade has the honor of selecting one student.  The student will have their picture taken and placed in the plaque in the front foyer.

We are so excited that Eva was chosen as our next "Golden  Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Miss Look had to say about her...

We are so excited to be able to celebrate one of our kiddos from our class! We talk a lot about our class family and how we all work together to learn and grow.  We feel so very lucky to have this girl join our class family this year!  Every day she comes into class with a smile and a positive attitude.  She is kind to everyone and she is always willing to help in any way she can.  She is patient, waits her turn, and understands that we work as a team in our class.  She tries her best at everything she does every day and she asks questions if she is not sure.  She loves to participate and has her hand in the air or she is singing along with our silly class songs.  She also has been rocking at working towards her reading goal in AR. She is always ready for our next classroom adventure.  I am so grateful that we have this loving, caring, and kind girl in our class with us.  Our student of the week is Eva!

We are so excited that Julianna was chosen as our first "Golden Rule Student of the Week" for this school year! Here's what Mrs. Heaton had to say about her...

I get so excited when I get to be the first teacher to choose a student to be the Student of the Week for the school year.  It wasn't easy because I have A LOT of students who show that they are Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Learn.  We have been in school for 16 days and this GIRL has shown that she remembers everything about being a gRRReat MES Tiger.  She has a great attitude about school and learning.  She always follows directions the first time.  She is kind to everyone she meets.  I chose Julianna as next week's Student of the Week.  I am so proud of you Julianna!  Keep doing gRRReat things!
