Starting with the week of October 4, 2013, we began a new program honoring Mrs. Ohlman, who was the principal of Marquette Elementary School during 1966-1985. One student in our school is chosen to be “Student of the Week”. The student is chosen by their teacher. Each week, a different class and grade has the honor of selecting one student. The student will have their picture taken and placed in the plaque in the front foyer.

We are so excited that Rylan was chosen as our next "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Mrs. Miller had to say about him...I am so excited that I get to pick a student of the week again! I have so many great students to choose from, so it was a hard choice! This time I chose a student that has really worked hard at making good choices! This student is kind and helpful to others that might be having a hard time. HE is always willing to help if I need him to. I have really appreciated having him in my class this year to help me! This student... R-ocks at being a great friend Y-ou work hard L-earns with enthusiasm A-lways kind to friends N-ever gives up! Rylan is the student of the week! |

We are so excited that Evie was chosen as our next "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Mrs. Russell had to say... I'm excited to choose another second grader for our student of the week! This student works hard every day and tries their best on everything they do. This thoughtful, young lady brightens our classroom with her creativity, kindness, and sweet smile. She is respectful to her teacher and classmates and can always be counted on to do the right thing. She always wants to be helpful and to be a great friend to others. Evie, you are an amazing girl and shine so much beautiful light on the world around you. Keep up the great work! Evie, you are the student of the week. |

I'm excited to choose this week's student of the week. I had a tough time choosing just one student. The student I chose has been very helpful, respectful, and willing to try new things. I know I can count on this girl to always do the right things even if she sees others not following the rules or directions. I know I will continue to see this student follow our 3 Rs all year long and I'm so happy to have her in my class. Our student of the week is Lily!

We are so excited that Kleio was chosen as our next "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Mrs. Jones had to say about her... The student of the week is one spectacular girl and comes from Mrs. Jones’ classroom. This girl has been at the center of my eye for the entire nine weeks as she is always a leader in my classroom and shows respect everywhere in our school. She is a kind, caring, sweet, compassionate, hard working girl who always tries her best and loves to help her friends in the classroom. She is also thoughtful and always demonstrates the 3R’s and could earn one of our WOW tickets daily! Congratulations Kleio as you are the student of the week and one amazing student! |
