MARQUETTE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Starting with the week of October 4, 2013, we began a new program honoring Mrs. Ohlman, who was the principal of Marquette Elementary School during 1966-1985.  One student in our school is chosen to be “Student of the Week”.  The student is chosen by their teacher. Each week, a different class and grade has the honor of selecting one student.  The student will have their picture taken and placed in the plaque in the front foyer.

We are so excited that Addalynn was chosen as our next "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Mrs. Russell had to say about her...

It's that time again to name a student doing their best; I've searched the classroom: north, south, east, and west.

I came across a sweet, young lady who really stands out; she deserves this recognition, without a doubt.

She tries very hard and works well with her classmates; She is kind, thoughtful, and has many other amazing traits.

This girl is clever, funny, and a great friend; Keep up the great work Addalynn, The end!

Congratulations, Addalynn, you are the student of the week!

We are so excited that Skylyn was chosen as our next "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Mrs. Medavarapu had to say about her...

It's my turn again to pick the student of the week! Miss Romano and I thought about which student is respectful, responsible, and ready to learn. We also thought about who in our class is kind to others, tries their best, and is always positive! This girl comes in each morning and gets started on her work right away. We are excited to announce that Skylyn is the student of the week!

We are so excited that Doug was chosen as our next "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Miss Look had to say about him...

We are so excited that it is our turn to choose a member of our class family to celebrate.   This boy makes us smile each and every day. He comes in with a positive attitude and is ready to learn. He is the best at sharing his stories, especially during our morning meeting. His hand is always in the air to participate no matter what we are learning.  Not only is he awesome at participating, but he also tries his very best in everything he does.  He has such a big heart and is kind and respectful to EVERYONE!  He is always ready to help in any way.  We are excited to have Doug as our student of the week!

We are so excited that Addisyn was chosen as our new "Golden Rule Student of the Week"! Here is what Mrs. Heaton had to say about her...

Listen up Marquette Tigers!  I have a student in my class that I want to tell you about.   This girl has shown that she knows what it takes to be an outstanding Marquette Tiger.  She arrives at school each day with a smile and positive attitude.  She always pays attention in class and follows directions.  I can always count on her to participate in class discussions and answer questions.  She works hard and tries her best on her work.  She keeps her desk and things very organized.  I'm so lucky to have her in my class this year!  Addisyn is who I picked to be next week's Student of the Week.  Addisyn, I am so proud of you.  Keep up the good work!
