After School Art

After School Art is an extracurricular activity that is open to 4-8 grade GMS students. Members are chosen from an application process. We will have one mandatory meeting each month where students will learn about an artist, their style of art, the tools, techniques, and mediums that they used, and then implement this knowledge into their own project. Additional time will be available weekly for students to work on their projects after school.
To cover supplies there will be a cost of $20. We will end the year with an art gallery so that students can share the art that they have created with their friends and family. Art from the galleries may be selected for art awards at the end of the school year. Acceptance this year does not guarantee acceptance in the future.
