05.01.2026 – Notice of Public Hearing – Administrative Cost Cap
Public Hearing Notice: There will be a public hearing regarding the application for Waiver of School Code (Section 17-1.5) held on May 19, 2026 at 6:00 pm. The location of the meeting will be at the Georgetowne Middle School Library, 51 Yates Road, Marquette Heights, IL 61554. The purpose of the waiver is as follows: Waiver of School Code (Section 17-1.5) request to allow the district to waive the limitation of administrative cost due to circumstances beyond its control. The District is experiencing a number of rising expenses reported on the administrative cost worksheet to include: salaries, medical benefits, replacement computers and annual fees associated with our financial software program. As a result of these expenses, the district’s administrative costs for FY2026 are anticipated to exceed those for FY2025 by more than the 5 percent limitation.
