Special Education Teachers
Serve as the teacher and case manager for students with special education services. Collaborate with paraprofessionals and teachers of general education to ensure accommodations are appropriately implemented for individual students. Participate as an active member of the IEP team, including drafting and oversight of individualized education plans. Progress monitor students and maintain accurate records on progress towards goals. Implement district approved special education interventions.
Professional Educators License with LBS1 endorsement.
District #102's salary is regionally competitive and the district offers a solid benefits package, including 80% district paid premiums for single medical coverage. Final salary will be determined per the collective bargaining agreement. Minimum starting salary for the 2025-2026 school year is $47,360.

Substitute Teacher Vacancies
District 102 is in need of additional substitute teachers. Substitute teachers must possess the appropriate licensure from the state of Illinois. To inquire about obtaining a substitute teacher certificate, contact the Regional Office of Education #53 which serves Tazewell, Mason and Woodford Counties at 309-477-2290.
